St James Episcopal Church - Cincinnati

St. James Episcopal Church is committed to serving its members, neighbors, and friends through nourishment: both spiritually and hospitably. We are committed to providing spiritual nourishment by offering inspiring worship, vibrant music programs, and Christian education for adults and children. We are equally driven to support the literal nourishment of our bodies and minds through hospitality and fellowship, specifically through our monthly Community Suppers, our involvement in various food/clothing ministries such as WestFed and My Neighbor's Place, and the creation of a new Farm Stand on our front lawn in partnership with Findlay Market (coming in 2014). We firmly believe in being active and supportive members of our immediate and surrounding community. We have great relationships with community organizations such as Westwood Works and the Gamble-Nippert YMCA. We remain connected with our neighbors in Sayler Park at the Chapel of the Resurrection at St. Luke's. We also participate in the Western Hills Association of Ministry, an interfaith pastoral network on the West Side, and take part in the West Side deanery. All of our program staff and several of our parishioners play active roles in various other community organizations around the city and throughout the Diocese of Southern Ohio. We're always open to welcoming new guests and friends, regardless of who you are, where you come from, or where you're headed upon your spiritual or personal pilgrimage.
